In the modern era of high-tech it becomes increasingly difficult to take consumers aback therefore producers have to be creative and find new ways of convincing the consumer about outstanding qualities of their products. Since Volvo Trucks was established in 1928, the company has been committed to technical innovation and product improvement by building on its scientific excellence. Synergy of research, production and design departments has been at the heart of Volvo Truck tremendous success in producing the added value - a functionally perfected product that propagates the brand and the values that it represents.
The aim of our collaborative work with designer studio RIJADA is to generate discussion about design and innovative thinking in order to build bridges between designers, entrepreneurs and wider public. We do hope that this will be of interest not only to the community of professionals, but also beyond.
