RIJADA

The Design Drive project was developed by the designers of the RIJADA Design Studio. RIJADA Design Studio was formed in 2006 by five students from the Art Academy of Latvia Department of Industrial and Environmental Design, with the goal to promote communication between designers and society in Latvia. Designers involved in the project have access to the RIJADA Design Studio rooms at all times. Design Drive was born to be a platform for the exchange of ideas between designers in Latvia and throughout Europe.

At the moment RIJADA is working on various design projects. RIJADA are designing products and services for public and private space. In order to understand real needs of design users, RIJADA involves designers, researchers and artists with a wide range of experience and background in the
design process.
